hey everyone! its birthing season on the farm and so far Clarice had twin girls and Daffodil had a fairly large boy. they are just adorable and snuggly. Clarice’s twins visited us at the shop on my last play date. loads of pictures were taken but i havent seen any of them as of yet. the sheep will be lambing any time now as well. it’s always a fun, exciting time on the farm but i’m always relieved when it’s over and there were no complications. the cows won’t calve until april and april 2 we shear, so lots going on!
i’ve been super busy rearranging the shop and doing all kinds of new, fun stuff for my customers. i’m not going to give it away this time, but my next post before my opening day will have a lot of information. classes are being scheduled as we speak including but not limited to: beginning knitting, kumihimo, lacey beaded shawl, socks, brioche, socks, wet felting, needle felting, and more. i am going to be featuring a brand new yarn each month. april will be the exception because i will have several to offer but each month after will be a new yarn or perhaps accessory. i will also be holding another stash sale but the date has not yet been determined. i was thinking i should do it before the yarn crawl to make room in everyone’s stash for new stuff.
loads of new stuff for opening day including youghiogheny yarns, a new yarn from meadow croft dye works, handmade buttons from cynthia crane, knitters pride needles and accessories, chiagoo needles, new mesh bags, and some new little knitting bags.
